Cách sử dụng other, another, the other, others, the other

Trong tiếng anh có nhiều từ rất dễ gây nhầm lẫn về cách dùng, bởi vì chúng có đặc điểm tương tự giống nhau nên rất khó nhớ. Một trong số đó là "Cách sử dụng other, another, the other, others, the others". Nếu bạn không hiểu được sâu sắc cách sử dụng của chúng thì bạn rất dễ sẽ bị nhầm lẫn khi sử dụng chúng. Đặc biệt những từ này thường xuyên xuất hiện trong các bài thi cấp 2, cấp 3, thi đại học cũng như các bài thi Toic. Dưới đây là những ghi chép của mình về những từ này. Các bạn chú ý theo dõi và làm bài tập để thuần thục cách sử dụng chúng nhé.
1. Other, another, the other
- đây đều là các tính từ nên phải có danh từ đi sau nó. Điều này bạn sẽ được giải thích rõ hơn trong bài viết Quy tắc bổ nghĩa trong tiếng anh.
- other + danh từ : có nghĩa là những cái khác
- another + danh từ số ít vì nó có mạo từ "an" đằng trước :) có nghĩa là một cái khác
- the other + danh từ nhưng được dùng với ý nghĩa xác định. Nó muốn nói đến " những cái khác còn lại" hoặc những cái cuối cùng
2. Others, the others.
- chúng được sử dụng như đại từ. Và do đó không được có danh từ đi sau. Mà thường đóng vai trò làm chủ ngữ trong câu và có đại từ đi sau.
-Others + chỉ những cái khác còn lại nhưng không xác định cụ thể
- the others chỉ những cái cuối cùng còn lại
